Nutrition for Today

Well I think I ate a bit too much.

2 Cups of Hot Cocoa ( I COULDN’T RESIST!)
8 oz of bracciole steak (sauteed in 1 tablespoon of oil)
8 oz of baked chicken
1/2 cup or so of mashed beans
1 platano fried (naughty me!)
1/2 cup of oatmeal
3 boiled eggs

must eat greens!!!!!!!!!!!!! i will buy some greens for the week on Friday.

  2. If you want to try something different, lessen your protein from animals and boost your greens and fruits. Popeye, your mother, gorillas, rhinos, oxen all are strong by eating greens…the meat and eggs just slows you down and gives you serious heart issues as you age…cool blog…

    • Thanks! I mean, i am not going to stop eating meat but I also eat quinoa, beans, bananas, and brown rice, but today i did not have any on hand. So i just eat what I have. However, I do need to eat more greens. I love brussel sprouts and spinach the most. mmmmmm brussel sprouts pan seared with bacon fat and shallots….. delicious. Also, today i ate way too much to begin with. I dont eat more than 8 oz of meat a day. eating more than that typically makes me feel bloated. i do not have the same genetic make up as a rhino gorilla or an ox. But ima do my best to eat the same greens they do. 🙂

      • You have no genetic traits of a carnivore. So my point was don’t ever believe the hype about the protein from meat bs. I came from that world of trainers telling me to get my protein. There is no medical condition on the planet for protein deficiency. As your doctor if he ever diagnosed someone with that. We are a protein abundant society with milk, eggs, cheese and meat being consumed daily with every other meal and the most diseases. When I went veggie, my body mass increased, my recovery times went through the roof so actually I was over training because I felt so good and on and on. No medical journal supports increasing consumption of animal products for health and well-being. None. If anything they always say lessen your calories from meat, cheese and daily if not eliminate it. This is what gave me my edge and six pack at 46. Good luck!
